WESTIN HOTELS & RESORTS SURVEY REVEALS SENSE OF WELL-BEING IS HIGH AMONGST UAE TRAVELLERS

A global well-being survey conducted by Westin Hotels & Resorts has found that although work-related stress has increased over the last few years, nearly two-fifths (38%) of UAE respondents feel that their overall sense of well-being is ‘excellent and could not be better’. A further 25% felt that their well-being was ‘good but that a couple of things could be better’. The Westin brand’s global well-being study was unveiled on the heels of the launch of the Westin Well-Being Movement, a multi-million dollar initiative designed to enhance the well-being of guests and associates around the world.

LE MÉRIDIEN PICCADILLY PAYS TRIBUTE TO HENRI MATISSE’S CUT-OUTS

In celebration of the Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs exhibition arriving at London’s Tate Modern, the Terrace Grill & Bar at Le Méridien Piccadilly has created a special afternoon tea inspired by Matisse’s work and heritage. The tea will be available for six weeks from the 17th April 2014 and the first 40 customers to book the afternoon tea in advance will receive a free ticket to the Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs exhibition, courtesy of Le Méridien Piccadilly.

WESTIN HOTELS WELCOMES ARIANNA HUFFINGTON TO NEWLY-LAUNCHED WESTIN WELL-BEING COUNCIL

On the heels of the recent launch of its global Westin Well-being Movement, Westin Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce the addition of Arianna Huffington to the Movement’s Well-being Council. The Well-being Movement is an ambitious $15 million campaign designed to enhance the well-being of guests and associates around the world, and Huffington’s role on the Council will be to serve as the expert on all things pertaining to the hotel brand’s Work Well pillar. Huffington joins fellow Council member Andy Puddicombe, Headspace co-founder and meditation expert, who was appointed ambassador of the Feel Well pillar as part of the campaign’s launch last month. As the Westin Well-being Movement progresses, Huffington and Puddicombe will be joined by other Council members, each of whom aligns with one of Westin’s six wellness brand pillars: Sleep Well, Eat Well, Move Well, Feel Well, Work Well and Play Well.
